Notes on why we began, and what we plan to publish here.
Welcome to the ownui journal.
This space will hold our notes on formulation, design, and the daily realities of caring for a dog’s paws. We will keep it small and considered, in the spirit of the brand itself.
What we expect to publish
- The science of canine paw skin — lipid architecture, ceramide profiles, what makes paws structurally different from human skin.
- Formulation notes — the reasoning behind our ingredient choices, and what we elected not to include.
- The applicator — a record of the design decisions that led to a hygienic, controlled, contact-free dispenser.
- Manufacturing and supply — a quiet record of how the product reaches the customer.
